How to create book trailers:

Want to craft a book trailer? It’s fun and easy! It is a simple way to engage readers visually. You get to choose the pictures, the words, add music and narration.

When starting out, I suggest Animoto. Of the video makers I have used so far, this one was by far the most straightforward. The website practically does everything for you! They give you templates and various slide formats. Also, the website offers photos to search and find for your video but just to be safe, I exported mine from a stock photo website. Perhaps one downside is that to use more features, you have to pay. For example, I wanted to use a certain audio but found that I had to pay for it. So, I chose something else. 😢 Check it out below!

For my second book trailer, I revisited WeVideo. After using it a second time, I’ve discovered I actually don’t like WeVideo. Sure, it’s fine but Animoto is better! It’s just not as straightforward as Animoto. You have to search to find things you’re looking for and the three bars of Video 1, Video 2, and Audio are confusing to me. Maybe WeVideo would be good for those who enjoy tech and figuring things out on their own. Check out my sorry attempt below!
